Description
Guided by a master chocolatier, participants will learn about the journey of chocolate from bean to bar before creating a selection of beautiful handmade treats to be packaged and donated to charitable NHS trust charities.
The session begins with an engaging introduction to the cocoa bean, including its origins, history, and transformation into chocolate, with cocoa pods and beans available for guests to see, touch, and taste. Following inspiring demonstrations, teams will use professional techniques and specialist equipment to create flavoured chocolate bars, chocolate lollipops, giant chocolate buttons, and chocolate truffles.
Each team will then carefully present their creations in a hamper basket, using toppings, colours, moulds, cocoa butter transfer sheets, and decorative finishing touches to make their donation feel extra special. It is a brilliant way to combine creativity, teamwork, and charitable impact, giving participants a shared sense of achievement while producing something thoughtful and memorable for a worthy cause.
