The Virtual Game Show – Inspired By TV Shows From Yesteryear
Team Building Experiences are always trying to think outside the box. Virtual Events have replaced live events when it comes to entertaining teams, employees and colleagues. With lots of Virtual Event experiences out there, we wanted to think of something new and unique to us. So The Big Virtual Game Show was born……….
How It All Started
After the success of our Big Virtual Pub Quiz, we wanted to offer another interactive event so we came up with The Big Virtual Gameshow. The team brainstormed about their favourite TV game shows and threw some ideas around. TV Show favourites included ‘Family Fortunes’, ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ and the much loved ‘Generation Game’ to name a few!
So how can these famous shows be transformed into a Virtual Event?! With the magic of technology of course (and some clever renaming for copyright reasons!).
What Is The Big Virtual Game Show?
The Virtual Game Show is an interactive virtual event. Taking inspiration from popular 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s TV Game Shows to offer innovative games to entertain! Interactive rounds played include ‘Who Wants To Be A Team Captain’, ‘Our Survey Says’ and ‘The Conveyor Belt’ as well as mini games to win points (or prizes).
How Does It Work?
The event takes place on the online Zoom platform. We provide the meeting link and you invite guests to join. Each guest needs to have at least two devices with internet connection to participate (either a laptop / computer and a smartphone / tablet).
Participants will need to download an interactive app called Speedquizzing Live to participate in some of the rounds. This app is available to download on the Apple Store and Google Play Store and is only required for one of the games.
The event is hosted by a live professional Event Host who will guide you through each round. The host will split guests into two teams, a Red Team and a Blue Team and players will compete individually to score points for their team. Because guests compete individually, it means everyone can be involved throughout the entire event. A Live Scoreboard will keep track of individual and team scores which increases tension and adds competitiveness!

Anyone can enjoy The Virtual Game Show. Whether you are planning a Virtual Social Event, a Virtual Team Building Event or a Virtual Incentive, it is suitable for all types of event.
