Sadly, the place that we all call home is in the process of being destroyed. Ever since the Industrial Revolution, the global temperature has been increasing at a rapid rate and it’s cause is us, the human race. By burning fossil fuels and changing how we use land, human activity has become the leading cause of changes to our climate, which ultimately means that we are destroying our own home, Planet Earth.
That’s why TBE have partnered with Ecologi. We want to help companies improve the carbon footprint caused by running company events, both virtually and live. With Ecologi, you can do this 1 of 2 ways, let us tell you about them below:
- Purchase and plant trees – Trees are the ultimate carbon capture and so this initiative aims to keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C. Ecologi allows you to plant trees in both the UK and overseas.
- Purchase tonnes of Carbon to offset – Ecologi fund many projects that aim to reduce carbon, including preserving rainforests, supporting wind parks and generating electricity from landfill!
As standard, TBE will plant 25 trees for every booking we take for groups of 15 people or more. If you’d like to plant more, offset your specific event carbon or find out more about Ecologi, please let us know and we will do our very best to accomodate you. The trees that are planted from your booking will be visible to others on our exclusive Ecologi page and we’ll even name your plot of trees your company name to make them easily identifiable!
