Urban Axe Throwing is a super adrenaline rush based activity… perfect for letting the anger and stress out!
Central London – Oxford Circus – also available in Bristol, Manchester and Leeds.
You’ve read that correctly; we’ve taken axe throwing out of the woodland and brought it into the city. It’s wrapped in a vibrant venue, expertly hosted by kick-ass instructors, and backed up with a suitably pumping soundtrack. You’ll be throwing axes and competing against your friends or colleagues in no time, so you’d better practice those celebrations!
This ‘perfect for first-timers’ experience is great if you want to release your anger (although we promise you will use these safely)! The Urban Axe Throwing sessions are 70 minutes long, and each lane consists of 2 targets, an instructor and up to 10 players.
During the session, you’ll receive a safety brief, learn how to throw an axe, participate in a tournament, and learn some trick shots. Have you ever fancied throwing two axes at once? An instructor will be on the lane throughout to ensure you’re having a blast.
So, what is Urban Axe Throwing?
Urban axe throwing involves a player throwing an axe at a target. They will attempt to hit the bullseye as near as possible. Players will add up their throws, and the highest score will win!
You might question yourself, ‘Well… isn’t axe throwing dangerous?’ I mean, yes, (it would be) if you were unsupervised. But our experts will be on hand to help at all times and ensure everyone is playing safely.
The new experience is thrilling and eye-opening, which makes it a lot of fun! Additionally, you’ll feel on a high when you hear the “thud” sound when the sharp object meets the wood. Of course, you may not have the axe head hit the target the first time, so it may bounce back a bit (hence why we tell you to wear close-toed shoes).

Please state these in your enquiry comments:
Full payment is required upon booking.
If you then choose to cancel your event, your entitlement to a refund depends on the amount of notice you give us.
We can fit up to 10 players on each lane; however, if your group is larger than this, we can always spread you out over a few different lanes.
All participants must wear closed toe shoes to play and we’d also reccomend wearing flat shoes as these are best for throwing in.
Sadly, the venue does not allow entry to those under the age of 18. They also operate a challenge 25 policy, so bring ID.
Yes, totally! If you don’t want to play, you can simply cheer on your team instead. Urban axe-throwing is an excellent sport to watch, too.
Absolutely! Not only will this be a high-end way to send off your team in the new year, it will also be a great way to treate your team for the festive period!
You certainly can! You can order this at the venue on the day of your event.
