Yes, you’ve read that correctly, we’ve taken axe throwing out of the woodland and brought it into the city in our Merry Axemas Experience. Wrapped in a vibrant venue, expertly hosted by kick-ass instructors and backed up with a suitably pumping soundtrack. In no time at all you’ll be throwing axes and competing against your friends or colleagues, you’d better practice those celebrations!

This ‘perfect for first-timers’ experience is great if you’re looking to let out your anger (although we promise you will be using these safely)! The Urban Axe Throwing sessions are 70 minutes long and each lane consists of 2 targets, an instructor and up to 10 players.

During the session, you’ll receive a safety brief, learn how to throw an axe, take part in a tournament and learn some trick shots. Ever fancied throwing two axes at once? An instructor will be on lane throughout to ensure you’re having a blast.

Axe throwing involves a player throwing an axe at a target. They will be attempting to hit the bullseye as near as possible. Players will then add up their throws and the highest score wins! You might be questioning to yourself ‘well… isn’t this dangerous?’ – I mean yes, (it would be) if you were unsupervised. But our experts will be on-hand to help at all times, and ensuring everyone is playing safely.

Important Information

• You will need to hire a lane for up to 10 players. If your number of participants goes to a number that doesn’t fulfill a whole lane, you will have the option to either pay for another lane, or have spectators
• This is a December-only activity
• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the experience start time
• You MUST wear close-toed shoes
• You cannot bring your own axes (due to unfair advantages etc)
• No parking available
• Feel free to dress up as long as it is not offensive
• Please do not drink beforehand
• 18+ only (please bring ID!)

Full payment is required upon booking. If you then choose to cancel your event, your entitlement to a refund depends on the amount of notice you give us.
