Part Five: Preparing for Virtual Christmas Parties
September 18 2020
Take part in our best-selling Murder Mystery event which sees 9 of your team take to the stage whilst the rest investigate!
Firstly let’s set the scene of this Virtual Murder Mystery event: Lord and Lady Thornley-Cruttock invite you to bid on the famous Thornley-Cruttock jewellery collection. But where has gardener Pete Spreading put his greenhouse keys? Is Constance Noring slipping something unsavoury into her Chelsea buns? The murder of the Lord leads to twists, turns and very surprising revelations. It’s definitely one of you Whodunit.
Treat your team to a virtual experience like no other. With things to hear, see and do throughout, this interactive virtual Murder Mystery event will definitely get your team excited! Our events are like a human Cluedo with a comedy twist. The scripts have been professionally written for us which guarantees they won’t have been done by anyone. We’ve also packed them full of jokes, puns and one liners, leaving absolutely nothing to chance. See, we are deadly serious about this ‘killer’ comedy!
There are 9 speaking parts for those that love the spotlight however we understand that not everyone will want to be involved in that way so we only have a limited number per production. Everyone will be involved in working out whodunit so keep your ears open and eyes peeled as they might be right in front of you…
We’ll provide you with scripts, clue packs and even a virtual background before your event begins. From the moment you enter the Zoom call, you will be immersed in the story. Watch as your team transforms into sleuths and suspects, eagerly mingling throughout the investigation. If you want to develop skills such as problem solving, initiative and communication whilst providing your employees with an unforgettable experience, one that achieves individual and team development goals as well as being a huge amount of fun.
What are the benefits of this experience?
To make the most out of your experience, make sure you have access to the following:
Our platform of choice is Zoom* which we set up for you using our account details.
Full payment is required upon booking. If you then choose to cancel your event, your entitlement to a refund depends on the amount of notice you give us.
It’s a highly engaging event and will help develop skills in communication, teamwork and problem solving.
A stable internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer on which to join the Zoom or MS Teams call.
We will send scripts and supporting documents out to the lead booker 1 week before the event which will need to be passed on to all participants.
This experience runs for a total of 90 minutes but this can be altered depending on individual needs.
This activity does suit groups with less than 50 people best.
We do require a minimum of 10 people per booking.
We require 9 volunteers for speaking parts. They are very small roles but require them to speak in front of the whole audience.
As involved as they would like to be.
We understand some people may be more shy than others so we will encourage people to get involved in whatever way suits them best – speaking out loud, speaking through the chat, breakout rooms, etc.
We actively encourage everyone to participate but if some people would rather sit back and enjoy the show, they are very welcome to.
Our preference is Zoom but we can also use MS Teams when asked.
