Description

In the Bushcraft Competition, you and your team will partake in different challenges throughout the day; Shelter building, Fire Lighting, Food preparation & Campfire cooking, and even a Bush Tucker Trial (upon request)!

Shelter Building:

Using only natural materials you will build a shelter to use as your base for the day. A brief instructional introduction will take place before you start.

Fire lighting:

Guests are instructed in preparing and lighting a fire using traditional methods.

Food preparation & Campfire cooking:

Guests are shown how to mix their own Bannock bread mix and cook it on their own open fire.

Bush Tucker trial (by request only):

We can provide “I’m a Celebrity” style bush tucker trials by request where guests will be given various edible bugs to eat. Only for the brave!

The camps will be competing against each other during the event. Teams will be awarded points on the methods used, the success/effectiveness of the methods and presentation. The team scoring the highest number of points by the close of the activity will be deemed the winners! This is a fun and challenging activity which can be biased towards serious team building or just fun!

This amazing event can be tailored to either a half or full day. Just let us know upon enquiry what your group would prefer.
