Inspired by the chariot races depicted in the epic film Ben Hur, this is your chance to become charioteers and experience the excitement, thrills and spills of the Roman Races.

Are you ready to take on this gladiatorial challenge? In Roman Races, you will become charioteers and create your very own horse and accompanying chariot to race against your colleagues! However, speed is not all that matters in this event! You’ll need to impress the Roman Emporer with just how powerful-looking your steed is to gain extra points!
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the presiding Roman Emporer who will brief you on your task. Although you will be provided with a basic pedal-powered kart and the body of the horse, it’s down to you to design your horse and chariot as best you can! You must create a convincing sponsorshop pitch to the Emporer to earn additional resources to make your kart stand out amongst the crowd! This part is important, as the best looking beast will take pole position on the starting grid! Tensions are high as you wait for the Emporer to drop his hand, and then you’re off! Teams will then race head-to-head in a series of heat races, with winning teams going through to the final race!
Although the rules of the track are clear, remember that not everyone plays by the book! However, in true coliseum tradition, any contentious agreements are decided by the Emporer either turning their thumbs up or down! Can you win the Roman Races? There’s only one way to find out!
We will need a large oudoor space with a minimum of 15m x 15m space for the race track plus an additional 5m x 5m space per team.
Full payment is required upon booking. If you then choose to cancel your event, your entitlement to a refund depends on the amount of notice you give us.
This is a fully mobile experience, meaning it can come to your venue wherever you are in the UK!
We will require 90-120 minutes both before and after the event to set up and take down any activity equipment.
